Smoked Salmon & Cucumber Bites - As Seen On TV!

Ingredients:


1 Sheet of Puff Pastry, rolled out to about 1cm deep
4-6 Slivers of Smoked Salmon, cut into 2" square pieces
1/3 Cucumber, grated
1/3 Cup Sour Cream
1/4 Tsp Spice Sanctuary Cumin Ground
1/4 Tsp Spice Sanctuary Smoked Paprika Chili Flakes
1/8 Tsp Spice Sanctuary Paprika
1/4 Tsp Spice Sanctuary Nigella Seeds




How to Make:

1. Preheat the oven to 400 F. Place the rolled out pastry on a baking sheet or parchment. Lightly piece the pastry with a fork and then wash with eggyolk or milk. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked. Allow the pastry to cool before cutting into squares.
2. Mix the spices apart from the nigella seeds into the sour cream.
3. When ready to serve, top each puff square with smoked salmon, grated cucumber and a small spoonful of the spiced sour cream. Garnish with a generous sprinkling of nigella seeds.

For a gluten free version, instead of grating the cucumber, use a whole cucumber and cut into long slices before wrapping the smoked salmon around it.
