Antioxidant Rich Spiced Hot Chocolate

Serves 1

Ingredients:


1.5 cups vanilla almond milk (unsweetened if store bought)

2 heaping tsp raw cacao powder

2 tsp coconut syrup or maple syrup

1 tsp coconut oil

1/4 - 1/2 tsp Spice Sanctuary True Cinnamon

1/4 tsp Spice Sanctuary Ginger powder

pinch Spice Sanctuary Red Chili/Cayenne

pinch sea salt





How to Make:

1. Warm the almond milk over low heat, removing the milk from the heat before it starts to bubble. Add in the rest of the ingredients and whisk until it is blended. To get a nice frothy texture, use a blender.



* Using pure and organic ingredients will take the conventional sugar laden hot chocolate to a nourishing and healing delicious beverage. Cinnamon, ginger and cayenne help to promote digestive fire and metabolism. They also add to the powder of raw cacao powder, which is one of the most antioxidant rich foods on the planet. Antioxidants help the body neutralize free radical damage caused by everyday toxins and protects us from disease and premature aging.
